I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw a clean S10 of this gen. The wheels look like the early ‘90s Jeep wheels but I forgot that GM had nearly the same rim just with “4X4” on the spoke instead of “Jeep”.
Pro-tip, if you’re gonna go to Lowe’s Home Improvement on a Saturday during quarantine, put on your face covering of choice and go at 6:15 in the morning.
Extra weekend bonus... chicks!

I thought for a moment that might be a Cherokee.
In case you didn’t catch my rant from last night, some Jeep eye candy here: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/what-the-hell-washington-1842927694

I learned to drive in a GMC S-15 of that vintage. Mine was a 2wd, long bed, auto in white. I swapped in some Blazer bucket seats and a center console. It had the thunderous High Output 2.8L V6 that made a whopping 125 HP. It went 0 to 60... sometimes! It had a top speed of 85 MPH when going down hill, with a tailwind.
A neighbor around the corner has one like that with a 4 banger and stick. Sadly the rockers and cab corners are GONE. These little things ran forever, and the frames were pretty solid, but rust just killed the bodies.

I recently saw a Dakota of that era that was nearly perfect. Reminded me how scarce good small trucks are becoming.

I saw that the other day. If I saw a solid but perfectly rough, and reasonably priced, M715 with original forestry paint job or some such stuff I would be hard pressed to not find a way to make it happen. It would have to be on the side of the road with a for sale sign on it or something totally by chance. I do not have enough self control to actually hunt for one...

I saw a pristine Dokota Sport drop top earlier this year when I got the chance to check out the local car club where folks store/show off their prized vehicles. Technically is is an exotic car club but they are open to all enthusiasts . In the same building there was everything from a row of late model Ferrari’s to track rats , resto mods, classic pick ups and 4x4s and, of course, countless 911s . In a room of 50+ cars the first thing out of my mouth when I walked in was “No shit, is that really a Dakota convertible?”

I don’t believe I have ever seen one. That would be the first thing I noticed for sure.
Like in a car show full of everything from old Rolls Royces (RHD too) to Ford GT40 replicas I noticed the Toyota Liteace first.
